Trudge
Last night we went home and had pizza. (We'll eat healthy again someday, I'm sure.) And watched a couple episodes of Time Warp, and went to bed. We are so cool that we're allowed to have boring evenings from time to time.

Tonight is fighting. Tomorrow we have the day off and I expect to relax around the house. And maybe, if I'm feeling inspired, I might paint the trim in the bathroom. Or clean out the file cabinet. Or something equally inspiring. Pretty much that's the plan for the rest of the weekend too, though there's a party in Kenosha we might attend and it might be a good idea to drop in at Faire. Zoom!

This morning, after conversing with the people with whom I climb the stairs almost every day, I started interval training thereon. Basically, stretch really well, walk a flight or half-flight, and run flat out for a few flights. Then walk up to the next rest point (18th floor, 28th floor, 36th floor), rest, and repeat. This morning, 'cause it was an experiment, I ran five half-flights (7->7.5->8->8.5->9->9.5). We'll see how this goes.

But I haven't been doing it much lately! Excuses, excuses; bad shoes, being late for work (my usual run, because I am sad and out of shape, is going up the 8 flights in the am, and down in the pm)...or being in California, far from my workplace-of-the-moment!
