Geez

I'm working on reconciliation of two domains (an old one and a new one), and in typical Microsoft fashion it can't really be done in a clean manner. In fact, it's consumed my workload since last Thursday. Today, if I have any shred of luck left, it will be done. It Will Be Done. And then we can move on to the next step of the project, and then we can move into the part where we actually create new websites using this new technology. Which was due back in April.

So, back to work with me. Um. Last night we successfully went through a number of boxes and shelves and combined the two (three, if you include the storage locker) into an array which is pleasing to the eye. The dining room could be functional, if we so chose, though currently it functions better as a sewing room than a place to eat; it is, though, more aesthetically pleasing than before. (As I just said.)

See, this is what happens when, in the middle of writing a blog entry, work interrupts.

So we did that, Laura talked to Jeff a little about the plans for the Grand Trip and the summer in general, and we went to bed. I may have played a computer game, that part is fuzzy. Tonight we intend to go to Leif's to fight, though I haven't actually heard that there's a practice scheduled. We may instead rest and do laundry or something useful. Cleaning for our houseguest, for instance. Tomorrow night, more of the same. Saturday the Faire, Sunday I go to LA. And on, and on, and on we go.

Anyway. Back to the grindstone.
